Cooplands Secret Garden Cafe

I was pleasantly surprised how spacious it was order by queuing on the road was a fairly long-term business maybe table service would be better given the current Covid restrictions. the food was delicious, however, and did not come long after the order to our table. the prices were extremely fair and incredibly low on a help from the day to eat. a limited but varied menu and what is absolutely fabulous, no chip in itself. Many thanks for a beautiful experience and delicious lunch

Came here for the first time since reopening, and was disgusted. Came with family and ordered 4 breakfasts. Service was brilliant but staff were all very young, I felt sorry for them. Breakfasts came and the eggs were not cooked, bacon was fatty, sausages were disgusting and pink, cutlery was filfthy, my son even picked up a fork and it had a full bean on it, floor was covered in food, and my plate had a huge chunk of tuna stuck to the bottom of it which made me feel sick . I do not recommend this cafe to anyone , it is disgusting and makes me feel unwell

Visited Hull for the first time and what a very good place to visit but went and had a light lunch at the secret garden cafe. At first we were served and our order was taken along with the money brilliant. They said there was a twenty minute wait of which I agreed. After 40 minutes I noticed staff going home so my wife went and asked remaining staff member if our food was ready to which she replied there was no more food left or being served. My wife asked to see the manager to which they said they were too busy and that the best they could do was refund our money back. It's my first ever review I have written and with my wife working in that environment I was very reluctant to write this but you SHOULD NOT be treated in this way and left waiting for your food and also having to go and ask for it is not acceptable or a excuse. I will take in to account it could have been busy but then inform us then we would have been understanding but please in future train your staff of how to deal with these problems. After all that went and had fish and chips so still enjoyed our beautiful day out. Shout out for HULL
