Delicious fish served by very nice people in a very beautiful tribute to the fishermen from the past. You can take away but you can eat in too. You would like the poems and pictures on the walls. Don't foget to leave some coin for RNLI, the lifeboats service.

Finding myself on 'Hessle Road ' with an hour to kill, I decided to give M.M. a try for a spot of lunch. For £5.95 I had a small but more than sufficient plate of fish, chips and mushy peas along with a pot of tea. That 's what I call value! and not only did they taste good, I was asked if I wanted more chips after I had cleared my plate. Must return soon.

I recently enjoyed another fish and chips lunch at this charming restaurant. Jackie and her staff greeted me warmly, making me feel like a long-lost friend. The food was delicious and the service was top-notch. I will definitely be returning.

We sat in the cafe for our fish and chips, complete with gravy, mushy peas, bread and butter and tea. Absolutely lovely fish, white and fresh and lovely crispy batter. The chips were to die for (and we even had a few scraps!! . Friendly staff and great service. If you want a real traditional fish and chip experience of excellent quality you will get it 100% here! Love it!
