The best steak I had in Hull, and one of the best I had in England. Great atmosphere, enough tables for most group sizes, but not jammed like sardines. Last visit I had the bone-in crucible. Cooked on perfection, delicate and seasoned brilliant. Pages were great, good beer, friendly and attentive staff. Very recommended.

The food was excellent and the service was outstanding. I ordered the mixed hanging kebab, which was cooked perfectly and served with a generous portion of rice. The service was fantastic. I will definitely be returning soon.

I tried the mixed grill at this restaurant and it was fantastic. The steak was cooked perfectly, and it came with the standard sides of tomatoes, salad, vegetables, and roasted potatoes. We also ordered extra garlic bread, fries, and onion rings. The service was great, the food was delicious, and the prices were reasonable. We ended up ordering too much, but they were kind enough to provide us with a doggy bag. The desserts were also excellent - the Malteser honeycomb cheesecake was especially delicious. I would definitely give this restaurant a 10/10 and would love to go back again.

Lovely food and friendly service. We were brought here whilst on a trip up from the Midlands as a special treat. Everything was excellent except for the wait between courses. It was nearly an hour between the starter and the main course. We had obviously come to a very popular place, on a very busy Friday evening.
