Despite its unassuming exterior, the cafe was charming inside, housed in the old booking office of a long closed railway line with a cozy log burner and vintage photos decorating the walls. We each ordered a delicious bacon sandwich for £3 and enjoyed a hot drink. The menu offered great value and had a wide selection. Although the cafe was frequented by many workmen due to its location in an industrial area, we were not deterred and would definitely come back again.
I enjoyed a wonderful breakfast with my friends at a cozy cafe with a log fire. They offer free refills of coffee, making it a hidden gem.
I called this café in the morning to inquire about having an afternoon tea delivered to our friends. Kirsty was very helpful and the tea was delivered that same afternoon. The food was fantastic and I am grateful for their assistance.
This place is far more than a working mans cafe. The food on offer here is outstanding. The service is always with a smile and it’s a real friendly place to stop for a meal or just a snack on the go
