Get a chief who can cook chips properly a disgrace to British fish and chip , change of oil needed never returning and chips half raw
Really good quality fish, freshly prepared, in nice crispy batter with good chips. The mushy peas were excellent too, with a hint of bacon. I had the “fruits de mer”, which is a mix of cod, Huss and haddock; very generous portions, and very tasty. There’s a nice selection of reasonably priced wines. And the staff are all very friendly and helpful.
Very tasty light battered cod and chips at this restaurant. Great customer service, very friendly staff.
2 large Takeaway fish and chips cooked by a friendly polite kind man and served to take away £7.50 in cardboard boxes were large satisfying portions of nicely cooked chips and fish for a cold and grey January Saturday lunch. The door to the restaurant was kept closed, and sanitiser bottles and dispenser were prominently available and visible for customer use in the takeaway area as well as the restaurant entrance. The takeaway area was spotlessly clean. The kind and friendly staff encourages us to return and recommend. Orders can be phoned in for collection.
