Zizzi Kingston - Kingston upon Thames

My family went to this restaurant tonight. The food and drinks were decent, but the service was lacking. The bill had items that we did not order, which my husband pointed out. They brought us a corrected bill, which we paid, including a tip. However, after my husband left, the manager came to me and demanded more money because the second bill was also incorrect. When I asked why there were mistakes, she rudely replied, "excuse me," and left without apologizing.

We returned for another lunch even after a disappointing previous visit. Sadly, again, the food took forever to arrive and was not worth the wait. It was tasteless and disappointing. Twice in a row is not a good sign and you really reluctantly pay the bill for a less than mediocre meal. Staff start attentive but they trains off too. I hope they bounce back from whatever current situation they are in as they did use ti be very good

Grabbed a spot of lunch but let down bu the service. Short staffed it seemed to had to wait a bit. Only two of us so only two meals but one came first before the drinks. Then had to ask for the second maybe 15 minutes later. Generally a disappointing experience.

DO NOT GO HERE! Service was ultra slow and staff do not appear care about their customers. Had a table booked but we were still made to wait with alongside those who had no bookings. After being seated, took ages for order to be taken done by memory rather than written so got one of the drinks wrong. Starters arrived after 40 minutes and were tepid rather than hot after another 45 min wait no mains so we questioned our waitress who instead of reporting back to us as to where our order was, proceeded to chat to fellow members of staff. After asking a second time, we were told that they did not know how long the wait would be. It appeared that the staff were prioritising take away orders. As we had no idea how long it would be until we would get our mains, we decamped to the opposition and vowed never to return to this restaurant again. PS The next restaurant seated us immediately, took our order promptly and served it within a very acceptable timeframe. Looking forward to Zizzi Kingston's response to this appalling customer service

Visited here at the weekend. Amazing pizza. Best in Kingston. Great atmosphere and great service. It’s the place for pizza in Kingston!
