Lydia's Homestyle Cooking - Kingsville

I visited a charming little spot in Kingsville for breakfast, and I was really impressed. The atmosphere was welcoming, and the staff were incredibly friendly. Our waitress, Joanne, was particularly helpful and recommended the combo lunch. I was not disappointed at all! I wish I could bring this place home with me; it's truly a gem.

I ordered a variety of dishes, but found them to be a bit dry. When I asked for a hotter sauce, it improved the meal. I also wanted a big cup of coffee, but they didn't bring us any. My daughter ordered a breakfast special and she was pleased with her choice.

Friendly faces and a welcoming atmosphere make this restaurant an excellent spot for regular breakfast gatherings with friends. For over five years, the same group of girls has been meeting here, and others have been coming even longer. The lunch options are fantastic as well, especially the hot cheeseburger, which I highly recommend!

Eating is healthy, but it costs about $8.00 $10.00 for a sandwich and chips. I only withdraw that the seating is limited and tight and the menu is not very clear what they are served.

I was there for breakfast but was not impressed. I cannot speak to lunch and dinner. Pancakes and eggs were average but the sausage was terrible. This probably spoiled my whole perception of the place. Totally tasteless sausage is hard to stomach when it is one of your favorite parts of breakfast.
