Highland Getaway - Kinlochleven

It seems from previous reviews that there are increasingly more vegan options on the menu. I went for dinner last week, and the chickpea-based burger was the only choice available. Don't get me wrong—it's a good option, and we understand that vegan choices may not be as plentiful outside of major cities. However, I just want to make sure potential diners know what to expect.

Unless they're looking for a fast-food experience, it was nice to discover three vegan options on the menu, along with a vegan starter (soup of the day). I've uploaded pictures of the vegan choices available. I tried the soup and the vegan burger; both were decent but not spectacular—definitely an improvement over some of the vegan dishes I've had in the Highlands. The IPA was wonderful, and the view of the mountains was lovely. The service was relatively friendly, but the waitress struggled to understand my request for a dairy-free alternative to butter!
