On top of all of that the younger gentleman offered to make and keep low salt gravy in the freezer for the next time we come around because my son can't have sodium. I was amazed he would go out of his way like that. Just a wonderful place with spectacular people.
I didn't know what to expect when I walked in, but I was pleasantly surprised. The restaurant was clean, organized, and charming. The staff was friendly and the food was incredible! I ordered a bacon cheeseburger and the patty was juicy, flavorful, and tasted homemade. The bacon was crispy and delicious, and the fries were fresh. The homemade gravy was a nice touch. Overall, it was a great dining experience!
This restaurant is a hidden gem in eastern central Alberta, offering delicious burgers. Whether you're a local or just passing through, I highly recommend making a stop here for a bite to eat. The cozy atmosphere created by the one waiter who is also a part owner shows how dedicated they are to their business.
We went for the fish and chips; while there, we heard about their pie. Tried both the apple and chocolate cream (last piece of each). They were made from scratch and truly delectable! The apple pie was thick with apples, spiced just right, and the pastry was flaky. The chocolate cream pie was heavenly, (and this from a non chocolate fan) the crust had the perfect blend of crunchy and moist, real whipped cream on top, and melt in your mouth filling. If you go, eat pie first!!
This charming family-owned restaurant is a hidden gem. The homemade hamburger and fries were absolutely delicious. I will definitely be returning.
