El Loro - Kinston

The food here is fantastic, and the staff is wonderful! Despite what some others might say, this is an excellent spot for enjoying a meal outside or in a cozy booth. I believe some complaints are just attempts to score a free meal, which is quite disappointing!

This experience felt like something straight out of a horror movie! First of all, we paid a hundred dollars for some frozen dinners that seemed well past their prime. Secondly, all of our food tasted old and was either from a bag or a can. There was nothing authentic about the Mexican cuisine here at all! It was such a huge letdown. Honestly, even Taco Bell or Taco John’s would be a better choice, and it wouldn’t cost you $100 to feed a family of five!

I believe some complaints may be motivated by a desire to get a free meal, which I find unfortunate and sad.

Secondly, the food was incredibly old and outdated, clearly from a bag or freezer. There was no authentic Mexican cuisine to be found here! What a huge disappointment! Fast food places like Taco Bell or Taco John’s can provide much better meals without costing a hundred dollars to feed a family of five!

Excellent service! The staff is friendly! Generous portion sizes! It was a fantastic experience with a lovely atmosphere!
