Auberge Saint Martin - Kintzheim

We were brought from a relative who lives in Alsace, and it was such an unforgettable meal, he talked to them and just turned out what we should have... (in French, of course. Not a place I would have found out...(or come in for myself years ago... Well cooked as ordered when ordered, casual ambience... Years later unforgettable. (They went to the Alsace Wine Route, etc.... this day. (Note: we went here many years ago, but the dates offered here go back to Oct 2018 only

Very popular place that is always soothing. Many local families and tourists. Salads were very good, with extremely generous portions. Tarte-Fambées were excellent here. Fast and efficient service. Very recommended.

We were here for a short stop between villages and followed tripadvisor advice. The 4 stars is really what this is. Good food (really good entrecote and fries), excellent service, good value for money. And try the desserts (profiterolles auc chocolat)! You won't have to...eat in the evening after this!

We ate here on a Saturday night with a reservation. The place was very busy and the staff were efficient but not very friendly. When we were asked for our orders we had to ask the waitress if we could view the specials board that...we could see at the larger table near by. We decided to go for the cote de boeuf (1kg piece) for 2 people and bought a lovely bottle of Bleger pinot noir from St Hippolyte at 25 euro. We were asked how we wanted the beef cooked, but there was no mention of what was served with the beef. When the beef arrived, it was cooked to perfection, and came with spaetzli, chips and veges. The portions were generous, but so was the price at 50euro for 2 people. The beef was tasty, but not the most tender and had quite a lot of fat and sinew to deal with. Overall, a good meal, but next time we would just go back to Jenny's down the road.

The Alsacian speciality Flammekueche at it 's best! Let you forget every Pizza you ever had... Very busy, even at Mondays: so don 't forget to make your reservation. Staff sometimes at limit but very friendly and competent.
