The new look Merriman Hotel has an injection of energy not just confined to the paint colours and the food menu, oh btw the baked salmon is mouth watering delicious!!! The staff also have more zep in their step! There’s a warmer atmosphere these days. Great Saturday night easy listening music by 2 guys who do a mean Simon Garfunkel! It’s just a nice homey place to saunter into for a relaxing drink or bite....even on one’s own....who knows who you’ll bump into!

Just home from a great time spent in this hotel. Really good value for money. We were there for a hen party and the staff, especially Marilyn, Niall and Maggie went above and beyond to ensure we had a great night. Food was delicious and I highly recommend a stay here!
