The building has an old core that has been added over the years. Our rooms were very comfortable (our had a king bed), quiet and with excellent bathrooms. We slept very well. Free parking and good Wi-Fi. The breakfast was not just a generous buffet, but offers eggs, but you wanted them. The main dining room is charming and we had a great dinner of trout, bakedl and straw apple salad, followed by strudel and affogato coffee. In addition to the traditional green Veltliner we enjoyed an unexpectedly excellent bottle of Austrian red Leo Aumann Zweigelt. Host Mrs. Fally was very welcoming and friendly, including our then five-week big daughter.
If you come to this rather isolated but beautiful region Austria, make sure you have a meal at Fally Wirt as it is known on site. I happened to be in the case of fungal and wilderness. If you like to eat game, this is the place for you. Excellent kitchen, personal attention of the owner, tasteful land design, exterior and interior seats,
We stopped there by chance on the way back to Italy and we were very happy because we were looking for a typical Austrian lunch and that was exactly what we got! The place was excellent, so the food. The restaurant was filled with locals and we were the only foreigners, but the staff was friendly and made us feel at home. If you go there, take the frying soup and the pawn!
Sehr gutes Essen und Spitzen Qualität. Klassische österreichische Küche. Die Leberknödel waren selbst gemacht und die Wildpfanne war ein Traum. Werden bald wieder her fahren.
