The Sweetside - Kirkland

The carrot cake is delicious and not overly sweet like what the other American bakeries would have. The lemon bar is addicting. The other cake and bars are good too. The atmosphere, environment and decorations are so pretty! It’s nice to hangout here

We loved the decor, delicious sweets (lemon bar and coconut brownies were outstanding), plus friendly and prompt service. We’ll definitely be back!

We just tried this place for the first time. The sea salt chocolate chip cookie was really good! (Much better than the ones from the new place in Lynnwood IMO We’ll definitely be back!

I was disappointed with this restaurant. It was my wife's birthday and I didn't have time to go to our usual bakery, so I decided to try this place to see if they had her favorite cake. The cake was $60 plus tip, double what I usually pay for cakes of the same size. I thought maybe it was high-end, but unfortunately, the cake was below average and didn't even have the standard walnut, raspberry, or cream cheese frosting (which had an oily texture). We ended up throwing the rest of the cake away after celebrating. Although the staff was friendly, I won't be returning to pay twice the price for half the quality.

The restaurant made a visually appealing cake, but unfortunately, it did not taste good. Cake is my favorite dessert so I was very disappointed that they missed the mark on my birthday cake. I believe that Costco makes better cakes than them. While their cakes may not be as visually stunning, they are also a fraction of the cost. I wouldn't mind paying their prices for a tasty and beautifully decorated cake, but unfortunately, they did not deliver on the flavor. The icing tasted like pure butter with no other flavors present.
