Whether you refer to it as The Real Ale Trail, The Beer Train, The Great Yorkshire Burp Fest, or Angelina Vs The Hop, this experience is a fantastic way to spend your day.
This restaurant isn't just a place to eat, it's an unforgettable dining experience! If you love meat, then you absolutely must give this place a try. You won't be disappointed.
This place was a fantastic dining experience multiple meats brought and carved at the table all tasting absolutely beautiful. The salad bar had a great selection of sides and fries brought to the table which were also fantastic. I thoroughly enjoyed the restaurant from the minute of entering to the minute I left would 100% recommend to anyone.
As a long-time customer of Botafogo, I have had the pleasure of visiting this establishment numerous times over the last few years. In the past, it was my go-to place for an authentic Brazilian churrascaria experience, and I had many memorable dining moments. However, my recent visits, spanning the last three to four times, have left me thoroughly disappointed. It pains me to admit that Botafogo has experienced a regrettable decline in quality. What was once a reliable and outstanding dining destination has become frustrating. On my most recent visits, the service could have been much faster, detracting from the overall enjoyment of the meal. This starkly contrasted to the efficient and attentive service I had grown accustomed to. Additionally, on my latest visits, I encountered difficulties with communication, particularly when ordering drinks. The language barrier made it challenging to convey my preferences accurately, leading to mistakes in my order and further adding to my dissatisfaction. Moreover, the hallmark of any great churrascaria lies in the quality of its meats. While I fondly remember the delectable cuts I indulged in, the recent meats have all been rushed and overcooked. As someone who prefers their meat medium-rare, it was disheartening to find that every piece I tried was overdone, robbing it of its natural flavours and tenderness. The declining trend in my experiences at Botafogo is profoundly disheartening. Based on my previous positive encounters, I had always spoken highly of this restaurant, recommending it to friends and family. However, the recent letdowns have made it increasingly difficult to uphold that praise. Despite my history with Botafogo, I must recognise the consistent disappointments I have faced during my last few visits. I sincerely hope that the management takes notice of these shortcomings and works towards restoring the former glory of this once beloved churrascaria. In conclusion, while I have been a loyal patron of Botafogo for years, my most recent experiences have been dishearteningly disappointing. The decline in service efficiency, communication barriers, and subpar meat preparation have tarnished what was once a standout dining destination. Until significant improvements are made, I find it hard to recommend Botafogo to others.
