The waiter was very friendly and seated us right away. The food was delicious - we started with olives and garlic bread, and I could have eaten the olives all night with the chili and olive oil. My steak was cooked perfectly to my liking, while my partner's meatballs were fantastic. Even my son's chicken nuggets from the children's menu were high quality. We all enjoyed dessert, with the profiteroles being a perfect ending to the meal. We will definitely be bringing our friends back to experience the restaurant for themselves. Thank you for a lovely evening.
I recently dined at this restaurant with my husband and three children. The food was delicious, the menu was extensive, and the atmosphere was very pleasant. I highly recommend it!
I had no bad meal yet. I live near the dolce vita on wakefield road and has been a regular medium week experience for years. my partner and I often go either Tuesday pizza and pasta for £5) or Wednesday any main course for £10), as they have special offers on these days. I've never had a bad meal in there.. eating was always consistent good and the staff is always friendly, helpful and chatting. the place is very clean and modern inside, although it does not look at it from outside) and the toilets are immaculate, which is always one of the first things I am looking for. I was also here for a 40th birthday party that took place down in the functional room and we had a great night, the buffet was good and more than plentiful at haresident dj, the played top tunes and ask the whole night. it will be 10 out of 10 of me every time. rob d
A wonderfull birthday. I have been to the dolce vita before on numerous occasions, i have to say that the food has always been consistent , and the staff all seem to be very friendly. the last time we went is because of a free birthday meal for my wife( its a promotion that they run for the dolce vita birthday club , After a deubious conversation on whether or not there would be provisos and restrictions on the voucher we decided to give it a try . The voucher did exactly what it said, a free starter and main course of her choice, (no limits so already, a pleasing start to the evening. the greeting and service that we recieved was second to non, whilst one of the floor staff was playing the piano, another was seating us and asking if we had any special requirements. the waiting time of the food was excellent, with free bread and oil to keep us going and a lovely ambiance to support. i have to point out that they must have changed the chef since our last visit the new kitchen team really do know what they are doing , my wife had the sea bas fillets , with a sweet pepper comfit whils i had the venison with a bitter chocolate sauce, the problem that followed was i really didnt know which one to try first. the service was first class and the food surpassed any expectation that we previously had. on summing up, i (we would recomend the dolce vita to any one and every one, a great night with my wife and family, we were made to feel at home by the staff, a big well done and we see you alll very soon George 'n ' Michele
The journey worth it. on Friday night to celebrate my father's birthday. the restaurant was recommended by a friend why not. six of us traveled well 30 minutes to get there, but it was worth it. the restaurant was busy with a good atmosphere. we had a nice waiter with a Yorkshire/Italian accent. we found out that he was venetian! No one had appetizers, but all enjoyed prosper and desserts. I had the spinat and ricotta ravioli (in vegetarian) and it was delicious! we all thought it was very cheap and would make the effort to go back.
