Kids throwing napkins etc and behaving like animals and the staff too afraid to say that was not ok to the parents. Couldn’t hear myself think and the service was slow. The food arrived cold. Our table was so close to the next we might as well have shared our seating. I wouldn’t ever come back.
Fantastic service especially from Ash to equally match the lovely food we ordered. We both had a very pleasant and relaxed lunch. Nothing was too much trouble for Ash who served us. Why can't all restuarants be like this. Thanks a lot, we will definitely be back.
We walked in and asked if they did walk ins, she said yes 15 minute wait. We got there at 6:10pm. We had a film booked at the cinema for 7:30pm. Took our order, 40 minutes had gone by, we noticed everyone else had their food delivered. We waited another 30 minutes and so I called a girl over, said we we’re going to be late and she said she’d check to see if our food was in the oven, came back and said “so sorry, not sure how it’s happened but your order has been misplaced, it will need to be put back in again”!!!! The food probably would of been nice, place looked clean but I think the customer service in there is what sadly ruins this business!
My husband and I visited this restaurant before heading to the cinema in the middle of the week. I had expected it to be quiet, so I booked a table an hour before our movie, but when we arrived, it was packed! I asked the gentleman who greeted us if we could be in and out within an hour, and he was very accommodating and friendly. He took our drink orders right away and quickly returned to take our food orders after giving us time with the menus. He even made a personal recommendation to my husband for his pizza choice. I wanted to thank him, but unfortunately, I didn't catch his name. He was a white man with dark hair, wearing glasses and a suit, possibly in his 30s. Throughout our meal, we were served by a young black man in his early 20s, whose name I saw on the receipt but have since misplaced. He was also very pleasant, and we happily left a tip. I had a free doughballs voucher from a previous visit to another branch, as well as a voucher for two free mains due to a previous poor experience where I had made a complaint. The waiter needed help from a manager with our vouchers, who was also friendly, but I didn't catch his name either. Our food arrived promptly and was delicious - we started with dough balls and calamari, followed by a funghi di bosco pizza and a meat pizza for my husband. I asked for my pizza without black pepper, as I find that some franchises tend to overseason it, but it was perfect. We took our leftovers home in a pizza box and enjoyed watching the chefs at work in the kitchen. Despite the bustling restaurant, we felt like valued customers and had a great experience. We will definitely be back and recommend this branch to others. Thank you for taking care of us.
On a windy and rainy day, we had trouble getting into the restaurant because the doors were stuck shut. Despite this amusing mishap, we and other customers were eventually able to enter. We were seated promptly, but then had to wait a long time for our drinks order to be taken. Two tables that arrived after us had their drinks and food orders taken before us. My wife had to ask a staff member (who turned out to be the deputy manager) to take our order, which was promptly sorted. While we were eating, we overheard the manager giving a deserved scolding to the staff member who was supposed to be looking after our table. This made things a little awkward whenever she came to check on us. From that point on, the manager took over and made sure everything was taken care of. I must say, the manager was excellent with us and we can't praise him enough. Unfortunately, the experience was already tainted by the previous mistakes. The food quality was excellent though - I had the paneer tikka pizza, my wife had a Garlic Prawn pizza that she was able to customize, and our child enjoyed their kids meal. It's a shame that the experience and the manager were let down by that particular staff member.
