Great service, always friendly staff, very reasonably priced drinks, large menu available. Seating inside and out (front and rear). Very scenic location, I highly recommend a visit.
What a disappointment supposed to be a treat for Mothers Day. Booked a table for 4 for Sunday Lunch. The food bill cost £120. My choice was belly pork which was tough, roast potatoes rock hard and the green vegetables practically raw. Two people chose beetroot risotto which they described as tasteless. The other choice was steak pie and described as OK. No dessert was available for someone who is lactose intolerant. A pint of beer was returned due to a bad taste. The apple crumble was very nice. All in all not a good experience.
Last minute booking on mothering Sunday was quite an achievement however; both my partner and I were accomadated which turned out to be the best meals we've had in a long time. Food cooked by someone called Andy was absolutely incredible, well worth a second visit
