Update: had lunch here again today. Both my husband and I agree that after sampling the other Mexican restaurants in Kirksville, this one is hands down the best, freshest ingredients, excellent flavor especially love the salsa, generous portions and very reasonable prices. They are #1 for us!We love this place! Tonight we had Sarah as a server. She was great, knowledgeable about menu items, personable, great service, even gave us a to go cup for our sweet tea! Food is authentic Mexican, fresh, tasty, really satisfying. Salsa and chips are prepared on site, really makes a difference. Really you can't go wrong!

My wife and I just ate here and it was amazing. Fortunately for is it wasn't too crazy busy, but still had quite a few people. Our waitress (Abby) was a great server and knew how to service a table, we didn't have to ask for a refill on drinks and she was very attentive. All the staff was friendly and helpful. Food was pretty fast. Salsa was great. Not too spicy, just a hint of spice. we ordered a side of guac and this is, by far our favorite guac. We both ordered toco salad. Mine was the regular and my wife order the fajita. Both were great and the shells in my opinion were the best ones we have eating. If we are to eat Mexican again it will most definitely be here. We would recommend it 100%.
