I enjoyed her food, but above all the way I was introduced into dishes I was not familiar with. Wonderful experience.
We regularly takeouts from here. I love her food spruce absolutely that they give you the opportunity to mild, medium and hot. I am Indian who had really hot curry with spirit pepper the whole life and this place DOES NOT disappointed when you order hot option. It reminds me of the curries we made at home. My Bf (American) goes for the middle option and he cannot get enough of her food. If you are less adventurous with your pallet, go for the mild.. The aromas are still there, sans the heat! The naans are soft, sauces are delicious and the food overall is very authentic. Thanks for great dinner, taste of India!
Best Indian food I've had! Wife and I are vegetarian, and have tried a TON of places. Can't speak to the meat dishes, but food was fresh and bursting with flavor. Mango Lassi was spot on. One word of advice: Medium spicy is pretty strong (true to it's authenticity), so go mild if you are scared. Scared, say you're fraid!
I'm a semi-regular for Wava. The food is always very nice and service prompt and friendly. However, it is a shame that the place is not more business. The owners need to explore new ways to get people in the door. As soon as you come in, there is no doubt that most will return again and again. Come and give them a try! You will love it (and don't listen to the fools who cares about villains, he is obviously a >INSERT WORD THAT WOULD GET MY REVIEW REMOVED .
We went here last night. As an open spirit, I had no illusion that this place would be like my local curry house in Great Britain and I'm glad it wasn't. I would describe how traditional and authentic cuisine cooked and served in a restaurant where I have been "Indian Curry houses in many different countries, and that is one of the best. The first thing you notice on arrival is that most employees do not speak English too well, this added to the experience as it felt like I entered the Indian community instead of a place to taste the common kitchen. We sat immediately and served ice water, then the other drinks were offered... I had a 'Taj Magal' beer, I never noticed that somewhere else... It was great. The food order was made within 15 minutes so that time to decide, the starters came shortly after, but not all together, which was no problem, as it allowed everyone to share.... The parts are large and the parts are a good option. The most important courses followed and were served with Basmati rice.... All foods were packed with taste and color... Nice! We also had the garlic nan bread, which were exceptionally good. Staff are attentive and offer a good service. We talked to one of the women I think they own the place. She is from London and is very welcoming... She can also cook Yorkshire pudding whatever is a plus. Really enjoyed it and when we are back in this part of the world, I will certainly call.
