I had ordered takeout before and it wasn't that bad. For the first time I go to the place in the morning to have some breakfast and from the reception it was terrible service. If you set an opening time, everything is supposed to be ready. The girls as soon as we entered asked: but are you going to eat here or take away? Insisting with a bad attitude, as if we couldn't eat on site. They made me feel uncomfortable at once and I simply ordered an empanada to go, a juice and some lemon chips (expired). He hands me my order and I ask if they have tartar; to which he rudely answers: “WE DON'T HAVE THEM BECAUSE WE COLOMBIANS DO NOT EAT EMPANADAS WITH TARTAR BUT WITH CHILI.” And I responded: “WELL IT WILL BE YOU BECAUSE AS A COLOMBIAN I DO IT.” I emphasize this because he could just say no, it seems like a xenophobic comment to me and even though he is Colombian, it does not mean that only Colombian people consume there. In all places in Colombia they have different customs and the same throughout the world. They should train their employees with customer service and teach them RESPECT.
They always serve their customers with a lot of special kindness. Among the owners, the food is always very typical, delicious, there are always soups and sancocho, everything is super delicious ?
The empanadas are not like before, they feel old, as if they were from the day before
I really feel that it has to improve, I have already eaten different dishes twice and the truth is that the food is not good, they make it as if without desire and it is not economical... I will stick with the buñuelos and their empanadas, which are super good. I don't recommend the rest of the food, I won't buy it again. In other places I buy an executive menu for less money and much better.
