Had to give a $100 refundable deposit when I booked it, only to find out it took 2 days to get it back in a gift card, why would I want a gift card? Credit my credit card. Rooms are run down, old fixtures, TV's and ripped curtains, had to cook on a hot plate, I'm not camping. Toilet kept running the whole time. If they wanted me to even think about buying here they are nuts. Don't waste your time or money with this place, they are just one step above a motel 6.
If you 're not in a new unit, request to swap! We, as owners in Orlando and Vegas, feel disrespected. We were placed in building 7, with a broken a/c unit. Maintenance came twice to fix it. We had to go to Walmart and buy fans at our cost to cool the unit. They never offered to supplement our coat or lack or sleep due to a hit unit. If you stay here, request a new (building 20 or 21) unit, or you will have bad a/c and no professional assistance to help.
We had a two bedroom unit and each space had a quick clean at best. Tubs had scum, hair and dirty surrounding areas. The floors throughout had popcorn pieces, a piece of broken glass, pieces of who knows what, and sock-staining filth. The kitchen had a scratched pan to cook on and minimal tools. Salt and pepper are all you get in the kitchen.
Booked our trip thru an offer from ProVacation which was supposed to be a Hilton offer until we checked in this is no Hilton. Not that it has to be. We were expecting a clean, organized, friendly environment no one knew what was going on. The Google reviews were good versus Yelp. Let 's start w/ the phone to see if our room would be ready before 4p as a rep told us that is the only time we could check in. The lady said she would not be able to tell us if it was ready unless we were at the hotel already. I advised her that our flight got in early we would be ubering so just need a 'guestamation. ' She refused was rude so I learned along time ago to call back hope for another person. I called back thirty minutes later, which was 10:30am a friendly lady answered said yes your room is ready. In order to fulfill the offer we had to check in at the Welcome Center in a strip mall in front of the hotel. We received our voucher tour time for 8:30a the next morning. She said it would be 2 hours, another rep said 90m another said how ever long they want. It 'd be nice to know so we could plan our day accordingly. The shuttle picked us up took us to the checkin guest services lobby. After checking in, we headed to guest services for wristbands to be on the property, a coupon, map, etc. The Yelp gift was Shampoo, conditioner soap, which is not provided. I always bring my own, but what a cheap gift. We were in Building 3 as another shuttle was suppose to pick us up to take us w/ our luggage. Waited for 25m after going in numerous time just to be told they are outside. No they were not so I asked for them to show me on the map how far the building was from the lobby. The lady circled the wrong star on the map said it was next door. She had zero clue what day it was let alone where she was at on the map as we walked according to her directions to Building 21. Not even close to 3. The shuttle finally came the guy was nice said the shuttle runs twice a day to Publix, etc. That, the hot tub nice view from the hotel is why they got 1 star. The room was musty! If it was cleaner these other issues were on par I 'd say it was ok. In the elevator there was a sign that they would be changing the filters etc. Why put anyone in those rooms then? Our allergies were so bad I went to Walgreens a bought generic allergy meds 5 pills for $4.99. The ice makers all simultaneously go off in each building are very noisy. Bed was a small queen hard like the couch. There were four lights in the middle of the TV interrupting broadcast. In order to get hot water in the shower you had to turn the faucet 360 finagle it. The worst was the dust bunnies on the bathroom vanity lights. It really wasn 't worth the tour price either. We found Airbnbs nicer cheaper. If you so happen to stay the management takes constructive criticism well, check out the Celebration area.
DO NOT FALL FOR THE TRAP! I entered a gift card giveaway at a local event in Tampa and won the gift card and 3 night stay. Catch is you need to do the tour. I was told I did not need to absolutely have my partner with me because scheduling is horrible for these tours. I drove 2 hours to this tour, taking the day off of work to get this done just to find out it is a requirement they be here. My partner and I are no longer together and they refuse to let me take the tour and literally state that I have to have him come with me! So the company would not give my deposit back so essentially they stole 130 from me. Horrible customer service for a company supposed to be in the hospitality business. Things change, life happens and they don 't give a crap! Waste of a day, and a deposit! DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR and don 't give them any business as they do not deserve it!
