Nice curry and beer with fine view. but curry is really small. not enough for me.
The beer is of course excellent home made craft beer and the reason to go here, but the food is well prepared and very tasty too. They are fully Coronavirus kitted out with partitions between all the seats and ipad ordering. Don't let the slightly strange location down a backstreet near Kokura station put you off it's worth the couple of blocks diversion. They moved here from the previous excellent location in Mojiko, so some of the older reviews about seaside views are out of date.
Marvelous oceanside view, friendly and very attentive staff, casual atmosphere, multilingual menu. Somewhat smaller range 4-5 types of craft beers brewed in-house; all were good, if more on the sweet side. ¥480~ per glass; ¥620~ for mug. Recommended: the “fugu and chips” ¥800 , a fusion between local speciality and British tradition go lovely with the Weizen ; the 4 sausage sampler ¥900 ; and, a personal favorite, the perfectly crisp and cheesy margarita pizza ¥1200 , made with what tasted like freshly made tomato sauce, and which married splendidly with their Pale Ale. Might be slightly upscale prices for the area; nevertheless, bring an empty tummy and enjoy a satisfied roll out the door.
It's a Japan Beer restaurant with a good landscape, as the second floor of the restaurant can be seen on both sides of the bay. Waitresses of this restaurant were beautiful, cheerful, willing to communicate, and it is also very affordable to try small drinks in the restaurant between 400 and 500 yen.
