Beautiful place and very close to the kitchener bus terminal. eating is good our group liked the double and the kartoffel roti. the service was good. they have good options for vegetarians. there are good deals and there are more worth. if they take out with the specials they have. they must have cash, as this is the only payment method.
Eating was simply ok he calculated 3.00 for a dose pop. the dessert was puff bakery so stale hard to cut with butter knife. the bathroom of the ladies is dirty used as extra storeroom. we told the owner that this was in order. He doesn't even recognize what we said. he didn't even credit our bill. the carpet is exploited, they see the floor that is dirty. the placemats on the table were plastic, which at a time were white were now completely dirty .then the owner asked us to like the restaurant on facebook. now, after this bad service I will never go back
I got in to get out. ok, it's a bit of a dive, but got my joking and had great pleasure with me never seen, but it was excellent. the cook came to say hello. more friendly place, but they have. to pay cash. I'm going back to the finals. Eating was excellent.
We have lived in KW for many, many years and for some reason had never heard of Ellison's Bistro. My wife found it by doing a bit of a random Google search and we are so glad we went! Four of us had dinner there....Two had Goat Roti, one had Blackened Catfish and one a vegan pasta dish. The food is all freshly prepared and it was all terrific. My son and I also asked for some hot sauce. To call the sauce hot is like calling Niagara a little rapids : But it was also very flavourful! We all thoroughly enjoyed the excellent food, the quiet atmosphere and the friendly and attentive folks that run the restaurant. The selection of wines was simple but all identically and modestly priced. That kept the focus on the food and was frankly a nice change from paying $50 for a bottle that you could by in the LCBO for $15 : We will be going to Ellison's again! And you should too!
