Ennio's Pasta House - Kitchener

Went to Ennios for a birthday celebration...birthday person specifically picked this place as it was a favorite of theirs....what a disappointment....the salad looked as if it was from 2016....the lettuce was brown, blackish, and wilted....the red onion looked as if it was like was taken out of the waste bin ....limp and so wilted ... when this was mentioned to the waitress she acted shocked and said oh well I guess it is the luck of the draw !!! how could you visually not see the aged and wilted salad....they went all out and added two olives and one grape tomato .... at no time were you offered any bread...the seafood manicotti was a treasure to find any of the seafood that was supposed to be there .... and it was the same with the seafood risotto .... all in all a waste of our time and money ....we will never go there again !!!

Had the classic bolognese with a couple side meatballs. The meatballs were big, perfectly seasoned, and the pasta was a perfect al dente. Portions were generous but not extreme. The restaurant was clean and nicely decorated. Definitely on my list for a repeat visit!!

A good place with good food and good service....most of the time. When they're busy, things can get a little hectic. However, a good all around experience. Some of their food is a little pricey but they have a fair variety to choose from. Their pizzas are good because the sauce is good and the dough is good, with a fair variety of toppings. You can ask for whatever toppings you want or get one of their specialty pizzas.

The atmosphere was typical Italian. The staff were super friendly and their service was up to standard. I as a meat lover had the lamb shank but there was plenty of pasta on the menu. The serving are very large so be careful on how much you order. The wine selection is largely Italian, however, i did manage to find a bottle of Californian wine, prices are a little high.

Stopped for an impromptu lunch and it was very good. Caesar salad, fresh bread, mushroom risotto with veggies and yummy hazelnut gelato for dessert. A bit pricey for lunch but the food was quite good and the waitress very helpful and friendly. Would stop by again if I'm in the area.
