So my curiosity got the best of me tonight, and I decided to try Pho for the first time in my life!! WOW! I paid for the special Pho Bistro and spring rolls. I was very disappointed. Bland tasting broth, slim slices...of raw beef, some boiled bites of boiled sausage, some plain noodles and bean sprouts. I don't know what kind of oil they serve with their spring rolls, but i got some on my fingers, and they still smell like death! Only good thing was the spring rolls. Never making this mistake again!!
I can understand a bad meal it happens the menu said green curry they served it as a soup. Bland and tasted like dishwater. When I told the server it was not good she reacted with a comment to the point that I was not...used to the food. I have eaten many green currys not like that. I found her very insulting. I left my son to pay. After he came to the car he said they charged us for my meal and made a comment to him that some people cannot handle the spice. Let me make it clear the food was not spicy IT WAS BLAND and soupy. The customer service was terrible. Why would anyone make comments to another member of the table. Never to go back.
When you’re a Pho restaurant and you can’t do Pho right, there’s something seriously wrong! I had the chicken pho and it was so bland I had to add a lot of extra flavouring. There was hardly any children either. Very disappointing! The place is...clean though and very friendly. I wouldn’t return though. My partner had soup with won tons. The won tons were very flavourful but the broth was bland like mine. Thumbs down!
My son and myself went for a quick supper after he had visited a car agency. The service was efficient and the food tasty with reasonable portions. The toilets were really clean. Will visit again
