The food here is delicious and reasonably priced, making it a convenient option for university students. I just wish they had more dessert choices, considering how much I love Turkish sweets. But, there's always a Dairy Queen nearby for a Blizzard if I'm craving something sweet.
As a vegetarian, I cannot provide a review of the food at this restaurant. Typically, one would not visit a Turkish restaurant for vegetarian options, as there are many more choices available for meat eaters. However, I visited specifically for the Turkish coffee, which was excellent!
I am enjoying a delicious Doner Combo here today and I asked for vinegar for my fries. My server asked me if apple cider vinegar was o.k? I said it was fine and another employee or owner (not sure) came over and told her she...couldn't give it to me! How rude. I spent on lunch but was not happy about this kind of service. Next time my will go to a friendlier establishment downtown Kitchener.
We went on a Saturday evening when most other restaurants were closed due tot he Christmas market. My husband had the Iskendar and my friends had the beef plate. Very very average meal. Unfortunately my friend had a very troublesome night as the beef did...not agree with his stomach. I am definitely not going back ! The ONLY good things : The beautiful coffee cups The very pleasant host wahsroom
