The Whale & Ale - Kitchener

Food is great, ambiance is very good, love the patio and they sell Goose island honker ale one of the few places

Went to meet up with my best friend before an event we were attending. The waitress and Manager were involved with the customers. We had a quite chatty waitress which we both enjoyed. It was simple to make reservations online and everything was ready for when we got there. The serving sizes are above average I would say and the beer selection is very assorted. I would definitely go again if I was in the area.

If I am with 1 friend I like to sit at the bar - always interesting interacting with the bartender. Other times we take a booth. Fish and chips is my favourite. I friendly place to be at

I'm going say this place isn't what it use to be.......but food was ok and drinks were cold. Personally I'm not in a hurry to go back.

I stopped in after work today to grab a pint and a quick snack. It's the standard irish pub, spinach dip was decent. It also got pretty busy around 6pm, which created a nice atmosphere.
