It was an excellent blend of 2 traditional dishes. The smores creme Brule was great too, and I'm not big on sweets. All around, props to the chef, I haven't seen such an inspired menu like this in a long time.
Absolutely Amazing! Best Oysters we have tasted by far! (And we love to travel) The Flatbread was phenomenal, and the Stuffed Haddock was also phenomenal! Service was excellent. Place was super clean and very comfortable! Would highly recommend!
Great service! Really nice view of the ocean and whaleback light house. Ordered blue cheese muscles and pancetta flatbread with balsamic drizzle.. AMAZING!! Martinis, wine and craft beers. A new favorite spot!
The food here is never a miss. Haddock is fresh and very lightly coated. French fries are choice. A tad pricey for an everyday lunch but is sooo worth it.
Quick summary: small but delish menu with enough variety to please most. Friendly, professional staff. Nice view of the cove. I stopped in for dinner with my sister. She has been here before, as well as the Ski Club above, and always was happy. She was right delish food! The menu is a nice variety of seafood, meats, and vegetarian items, both for apps and mains. We split the harvest salad $14, for splitable size a mix of greens, roasted sweet potatoes, dried cranberries, herbed feta, etc. you can add various protein to any of the large salads add $9 for chicken to $15 for swordfish. My sister had the coffee rubbed duck breast $34 and I had the peppercorn crusted swordfish so delicious $34. Each dish comes with appropriate sides, and of a size to take some home, i.e. good strategy in my book. A few of the sides were very seasonal, e.g. puree of cauliflower or parsnip. Nice wine list by the glass and bottle, with glasses mostly in the $11 14, with some premium options in the $20's. Many bottles in the $40's, but you can go higher. My compliments: extra points to the chef they make the chicken marsala with DRY marsala, as it SHOULD be. A few restaurants use sweet marsala an abomination. Nice view of the cove. Moderate noise level. Friendly, professional, helpful staff. Of course I'd be delighted to return when I visit the family in the area again!
