Lovebirds Donuts - KITTERY

I've been vegan for 8 years. These are the best donuts I have ever had, vegan or otherwise. My spouse has been trying to convince me how wonderful Maine is for years. This place was everything it took! When we get there in a few years as residents, I will be a regular! I had the staff pick me a half dozen and how each one was uniquely the best donut of my life is still a magical mystery!

Omg 4 types of gluten free donuts and $1 lattes on Mondays. I died and went to heaven. Convenient location on route 1, friendly service, and cute decor. Will be back!! My favorite GF donut was the cinnamon and sugar with the strawberry lemonade being a close second. Great lattes to boot! Thank you so much!

These are some of the best vegan doughnuts I've ever had—you wouldn't even realize they're vegan unless someone mentioned it! I really appreciate that they change the flavors every month; it makes each visit more thrilling. Even though we live an hour away, we make it a priority to come each month to sample the new options. I highly recommend ordering in advance, as the flavors tend to sell out quickly.

I almost left because of the incredibly long line outside and my belief that no donut is worth waiting in a long queue. I'm so glad I decided to stay (and they move through the lines quickly)! We tried four different donuts: Boston cream, a lemon berry flavor, the jam of the day, and the old-fashioned. Each one was truly outstanding. The old-fashioned was my favorite, with the Boston cream coming in a close second, but I'd happily eat any of them again. I later discovered that they're vegan, which I had no idea about while enjoying them. Five stars well-deserved! And the coffee was great too!

The donuts here are absolutely delightful! I ordered a half dozen to share with my co-workers but couldn’t resist trying a few myself. The standout for me was definitely the peach jam donut—it had just the right level of sweetness, plenty of filling, and a delicious crumble on top. It's hard to believe these donuts are vegan! My only minor issue was with the chocolate strawberry filling; it was meant to be a whipped mousse or cream, but I found it a bit too oily for my liking. I can't wait to return and try next month's flavors!
