Grand Café Erperheide

So I had Pizza Quattro Formaggi and it was very, very good! Thin, crispy, well topped... I was so hungry from swimming and couldn't take a picture beforehand. 1 point deducted because of the price, but well where I live it costs similar and then my dad-in-law wanted to order Pepperoni Pizza via the app, the waitress was confused as to why there was Pepperoni Pizza in the app but only vegetarian pepperoni on their menu... he had it then ordered salami pizza and somehow it ended up costing €19.90 for whatever reason. They don't have pizza on the menu that costs as much as if I made the effort to go to Maastricht and eat pizza there. Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Two stars for the really nice service! They did a great job. There are negative points for the food. Pizza Margherita (declared with mozzarella) €11.50 And then just comes a frozen pizza topped with cheddar, warmed up in the oven. My daughter didn't want to eat it and I complained. Got a drink and a muffin as compensation. (Service as I said, great) Tomato soup tasted like it came from a can, Baguette (rubber) with herb butter, in my opinion, could have been served warm so that it would be nice and crispy. The veggie burger was actually quite okay, although the tasteless, wobbly fries ruined the dish. That's not what you're used to from the Belgians. It's nice to drink here, but do yourself a favor and stay away from the food. All in all, the price/performance ratio is absolutely not right here! Ordered nachos for €10.95. You have to keep a magnifying glass if you want it to look like anything! Ridiculous prices there...

I had to give 1 star but it's actually not even worth it. There is simply nothing positive to say about this restaurant. The pizzas are simply unbelievable and so are the staff and the prices. We sent everything back and left. Do not pay in advance!! If we had eaten these pizzas we wouldn't have been able to write this post. People this is no joke!!
