The service and, above all, the host, to whom his appeal is obviously fun, were extremely friendly. The Ebbelwoi and the Abbel Juice (0,5l each €2.40) come from the Kelterei Gesner from Kleinkahl. The Kahlgrunder Handkäse (4,90 € , not comparable to the usual hand cheese, was a dream and is only so broken on the tongue. Also the Bratworscht with Sauerkraut (5.30 € was excellent. The bread, served for all and lucky hand cheese, made us so good that we took a laib (2 kg for 6.50 €. At the next visit, I would try the stone garden pot, probably a mixture of white Presskopp and Limburger. But it's worth going past here for the hand cheese alone, you have to try!
I used to be with the Käsliesl until the 1990 years in Kleinkahl. It's been given a very good box. I think this is still recommended today
The Gaststätte Zur Käslis , der Weg der sich für alle, der honest, barely present today, Kahlfoundr Käslis cheese specialities and from the butcher master (son of the house), cooked sausages and ham (all types of sausages and ham also for taking along) are more than worthwhile. This kind of restaurant was there about 40 years ago in Kahlgrund in almost every place but nowadays only as absolute rarity to experience. The Kahlfounder Äbbelwoi (Frankfurt's traditional drink, however, which hardly one knows, mostly from the Kahlgrund) gives 's here,of course in the Kahlfounder Bembel (the Frankfurters had stolen the idea) ...
