Schnitzelhaus - Klosterneuburg

The food quality is very good. the Schnitzel is served with fries or baked potatos, including special salad. it is a perfect place to visit in lunch time, with family. price is good and reasonable. What I liked the most is that the Schnitzel is not thick. It is thin and crispy. They serve it hot!

You should try schnitzel in viena, so it's better to go to it's HOUSE really!I enjoy it but the menu was very bief.delicious food but not easy to like by a cardiologist!!try a big beer to wash your mouth in a refreshing way.

Went to this place last Tuesday for my birthday with another 7 friends. On their website they have this birthday special that you get a free dinner on your birthday, so I enrolled online, got a confirmation email and informed the staff before we started dining. When it came to paying the bill ($450 for 7 people) I was informed that I needed a printed voucher to redeem the birthday special. In no confirmation email or on their website this is explained.I showed them the confirmation email that strangely had another offer at the bottom of the email:“This email entitles you to a FREE ENTREE and FREE DESSERT anytime within 4 weeks from the date of this email, when min four people dine eating full mains. Please present this email on arrival. Not to be used with any other offer at the table. Thank you.”Their response was that this had to go through a marketing company and also a printed voucher has to be presented which is clearly not what is explained in the above offer.Obviously we felt robbed and left on a very sour note.For the service and food. The staff was not attentive (on a Tuesday night when the place was have empty), we had to ask for water repeatedly and we didn’t feel well looked after. The food was ok but nothing special. The veal schnitzel was slightly over cooked, as was the duck. The spaetzle (pasta) were not freshly made and therefore dry. The only dish I can recommend is the potato salad. We will not go back again.
