My husband and I dined there in February 2016, during a trip to Klosters. What a lovely surprise. We loved the idea of selecting the number of courses that we wanted (very cool idea) and we went for five as it was a special occasion. The service was exceptionally gracious and accommodating. I have a sulfite allergy and could not drink any wines from their list - so they were more than willing to open our sulfite-free bottle without any problems at all. The food was spectacularly presented and was absolutely delicious. We tried the cheese course, and were THRILLED to be ushered into the cheese room, where our server helped us choose the types we wanted to sample. Then to top it off, we were invited to visit the chef in his kitchen. My husband's American name is nearly identical to Chef and Owner Heribert Dietrich's - the coincidence was too delicious and both men enjoyed a good-natured chuckle. By the way, did we mention that we were dressed overly casual due to our ski trip? We were both in jeans and there was not a problem at all. No one blinked an eye or even seemed to care. If I were there during a non-sports vacation, I would bring a somewhat dressier outfit - even my dirndl! It is easy to miss this restaurant/inn, as it is very quietly by the side of the road and honestly, from the outside, you would never even dream that British Royalty has stayed here during their Klosters ski vacations. Trust me, you will enjoy a visit to the restaurant and consider this a meal of a lifetime.
Kommen bald wieder...
