The prizes were alright for an airport, and the size of the Käsewähe was generous. However, it was extremely salty. Alright, it may difficult to find the right measure as cheese is salty by itself. But this is a Swiss specialty, and the name of the restaurant is... Right! I told the staff when they asked me if everything was alright. They promised to tell the chef but I had expected a bit more of apologies. The side salad was good, the ice tea not that tasty. Atmosphere was tranquil which is great for an airport.
$14.20 Francs for two cappuccinos. We wanted counter service but were admonished that the restaurant was sit down only. A coffee shop. In an airport. At 6:00 am. So we nicely complied. Our cappuccinos came and we ordered a croissant. It did not came although there was a huge stack of oven fresh croissants one meter away. Each time we asked a passing waiter for a croissant, in this nearly empty restaurant, you would have thought we were impudent children begging for candy at the grocery store! We were actually quite bemused at the overt rudeness. There are numerous better coffee spots one level down from this one, we later learned. I would definitely take a pass on Chalet Suisse!
Great to have a motie motie and a glass of Fechy before you take off!!! Last time suisse feeling. Fondue is ok. Bread so so, potatoes poor quality…. location is cozy despite the airport feeling! They alsonjave good breakfast offers…
Perfect service, clean interior, delicious food
Minced meat with croissants overcooked, fondue never gets really hot, a shame for the guest and the last impression of Swissness
