New York Diner - Knightdale

I live nearby and had always passed by and seen the place, so one morning I decided to stop by and was amazed by its very original decor, great atmosphere, and excellent service. The food, although not at the price indicated on their online menu, was delicious. I also had huevos rancheros and coffee. I would definitely return.

First visit…..and definitely not the last. Stuffed French toast delicious…not stingy with the fruit topping. Coffee is good too. Looking forward to returning soon.

When I first entered the diner , it was a very nice and clean place to have breakfast. The atmosphere was very nice. The food on the other had was OK. As one person put it The ham is lunch meat not country ham or cured ham. The french toast was good. I think the food could have been much better even at the prices we paid which was not bad. The Next time we visited was for lunch this past Sunday. The food was again okay. I ordered a cobb salad and others ordered the bowls, chicken and shrimp. For a Mexican restaurant there was not a lot of choices and the serving size was small for the price. If this is a New York Diner, then simulate the York food. I don't think i will be going back there. Parking: parking was good Wheelchair accessibility: access to the building by wheel chair is good

Not a real diner...need to change its name I worked in NYC for 15 years thus is NOT a new york diner..neat place nice people food is ok ..but a new york diner would not serve Mexican food...

OMG. I loved it!! If you don't know what you're in the mood for, try the Diner Sampler. It has steak, chicken, and the most amazing shrimp. Served with refried beans and a side of rice. It also had guacamole and Tortillas. It was great!!!! Also, order the churros for dessert. I had to wait a little while for them, but the fresh and fabulous. Support this business. They are great.
