Prime Barbecue - Knightdale

This is THE BEST BBQ spot is the Triangle!!! Since being introduced to this spot by one of my friends. I have eaten here at least 2-3 times per week and have turned liked 7 other folks who haves loved it. If you?re looking for THE BEST BBQ spot in this area you have to try this spot. However, beware? since this place is in such high demand their hours are different. Check that out and get their early because they will sell out on those who are late. ????

Loved the ribs!! I got the baked beans and green beans. Not sure why the stems were not removed from the green beans. Other than that everything was great. They have smoked sweet potato, potato salad ???????? I tasted it and will get it next time.

I come every two months or so with my 8 year old daughter since it is a drive for us. It never disappoints.The owner is a super nice guy; he gave my daughter some free extra ice cream and talked about her appreciation of BBQ in its many forms.Brisket is the best in the triangle area no contest.

Came on a weekday. First time having southern BBQ (non-asian BBQ in general). Not sure if my partner and I just had bad luck but we had high expectations that unfortunately were not met. We got 1/2 pound of brisket, pulled pork, and ribs. The best of the three was the ribs. The brisket was unfortunately dry for us. I also wasn't expecting the seasoning to remind me of beef jerky. The pulled pork was alright, not too much flavor on it's own but I heard it's meant to be with BBQ sauce. The BBQ sauce was a sweet type, not overly so though. The ribs were not anything outstanding but balanced in flavor and not dry. Seeing how well rated this place was, I was very hopeful so as I said before, I might have had bad luck with my visit.

Great Atmosphere. The food was delicious . We had coleslaw ,mac and cheese , green beans the only sides without pork, cobbler, banana pudding, and brisket. A little bit of a wait time after waiting an hour to pick it up. The staff was very nice and gave us complimentary beverages. We sat and enjoyed the vibe. It was worth it.
