The food was outstanding! However, the entire place felt eerily quiet, as if it were stuck in a time warp. It was a bit disheartening.

I really enjoyed discovering this hidden side street restaurant. While the food and service are straightforward, everything just feels right. The menu features a delightful southern/lakeside cuisine theme. The owner/operator is very friendly, and from my perspective, the food is excellent. If you're in the mood for crispy greens, chitlins, and gizzards, this is the perfect spot for you. I highly recommend giving it a try. The prices are a bit on the higher side, but the flavors make it worthwhile!

My wife ordered the catfish, and I had the pork chops with greens and mac and cheese. I enjoyed some of the best soul food in the area. The service was excellent!

I wanted to try this place. Then Covid. Today we went home with a 30-minute drive, but it was hot and delicious on arrival! Largest piece of puppies cooked for perfection, sides all fantastic, you get 2, we chose frits, Mac n cheese, rice Gravy, Cole Slav, one had fresh yeast rolls and the other to-die-for hush puppies). Had a call ahead order and the Lord was very friendly and helpful! You go a small ramp to a pick-up window. You practice Covid precautions and have a 96 review for cleanliness! Very reasonable price and generous portions. Hubby would like more than 2 hush puppies. I can't wait to come back soon.

The food was hot and fresh. The yams was the best in town. Keep up the good work.
