Talbot Inn - Knighton on Teme

Had to organise a wake there so doesnt really count as a review. Food was cheap and plentiful.

Food superb. Excellent atmosphere. Quiz nights brill.....

Under new ownership but the service and quality of the beer was not as good as my previous visit.

Lovely spacious room, tastefully furnished. Comfy bed and super bathroom. Good menu in restaurant at reasonable prices. Staff very friendly and obliging. Will be back next year!

Very disappointed at lunch today had looked at the menu on the website and were delighted about the lookout for something special. especially liked the idea of a Fisherman’s or Hop-picker’s Sharing-Platters. Unfortunately, what was in the offer, far from the expectations no plakate, only relatiw usual “Pub grub” options. Add a price of £7.50 for a large glass red wine and a cold in the air, because the log burner does not burn properly and we abandoned and abandoned. I'm sorry, but after many excellent times in the talbot it will take a lot to lure us back.
