Calhoun's - Knoxville

We ordered the Turkey Dressing, mashed potatoes, peas, cranberry sauce, turkey gravy, rolls, and half a pumpkin cheesecake, which feeds five people for $78 this year. The food was served hot and ready to eat, with no need for a two-hour wait or reheating—thank you, Calhouns! They also offer meals that feed ten and can be picked up hot and ready. Out of all the meal deals available, Calhouns is the ONLY one that delivers hot food and continues to serve until January 1, 2024. That's such a smart and fantastic option! The food is really delicious!

The food was excellent, and the drinks are always fantastic when Barry is on duty! My only concern with Calhoun's is the recent change of allowing only one side with meals instead of two. Given that all the appetizers are $12, it would be great to allow customers to choose two sides with their meals.

We placed a takeout order for 40 people, and it was excellent. The service was prompt, the food was delicious, and everyone enjoyed it. Everything was hot and ready when we arrived for pick-up.

Calhouns has been a Knoxville standard for decades. I had not visited since the pandemic, and it really brought back memories. Be sure to try the Spinach Maria, my personal favorite, and the fried green tomatoes. I like to finish with one of their delicious chocolate shakes.

This was the first time we ordered the Thanksgiving meal pack to go. This was an excellent experience from the girl(s who took our order, those who put together the food items (order was 100% correct!! , the ease of pick up, and the taste of the food items! Truly, the easiest, no-stress method of hosting Thanksgiving dinner. We were pleasantly surprised that this food tasted this good and was so close in taste to our homemade turkey meals that we usually prepare. Great job, Calhoun's staff and cooks! Thank you so very much for the effort and care all of you put into this!
