Calhoun's Bearden Hill - Knoxville

Sides, salads are good to very good. Apps are good but not very foodie oriented and more greasy bar food. BBQ (all 3) and chicken are just too dry and overdone. This food seems better with events and catering.

Good place to go when you’re in town and looking for a nice meal in a comfortable atmosphere. The service was outstanding and we thoroughly enjoyed the evening.

The service was great. Our waitress was lovely and management even stopped by to check on our table. But the food was bland and did not taste good. I felt like we paid too much for the lack of flavor. But it was Christmas and getting someone to show up to work was a lot so we didn't complain.

We were so disappointed with our dining experience at Calhoun’s on Bearden Hill. On Christmas Eve you expect a wonderful dinner and atmosphere, but it was any but. We felt so rushed as if we were holding them up. We had 7:45pm reservation and only stayed about an hour. They stopped serving beer and wine half way through our dinner without telling us (we only got one drink). Finally 20 minutes later the server was able to get me another glass of wine but failed to bring the rest of our party another drink. The salmon was very dry and tasted like an overcooked frozen product. The staff were loud and pretty much acted like we were not there as they were cleaning the floors and rushing to get out. We will not be back.
