Cheddar's Scratch Kitchen - Knoxville

We had a great experience. My daughter really wanted to try Cheddars and I was hesitant because the parking lot was slammed full. I thought we would have to wait forever. However, we were seated in about 20 minutes. Our service was good and our food was delicious!

Great Food, Great Prices. We had dinner for 6 with drinks, appetizers and a dessert for $74. The food was fabulous and the prices can't be beat. I highly recommend the Shepard's pie and the chicken tenders.

For all the people complaining about there not being any carry out, allow me to shine some light on the matter. Friday night, full house, tons of orders being put in with a new kitchen staff, that 's a lot to handle. Now add about 10 more carry out orders per hour and what do you get? Improperly cooked food for one, slowing every order out of the kitchen for two, and why? Because you don 't want to wait 30 minutes to get sat? Secondly, the people complaining about the noise need to realize there is nothing the restaurant can do. What do you want them to do, go over the intercom and say, 'Could everyone please be more quite so John and Mary over there can enjoy their meal? Thank you! '. Not going to happen. It 's a relatively small building full of people having conversations all at once, it 's going to be loud and there is nothing the staff can do about it. I 'd understand if there we 're employees standing about creating noise but there isn 't. However, if there is one specific table creating an abundance of noise I 'm sure the management will do everything in their power to quiet the situation.

Cheap food!. I went here for dinner the other day around 8:30 and got seated immediately. The building is gorgeous, just like the other Cheddar's. The service was decent, but the food was wonderful. I ordered the fried catfish, which is about $9 and comes with two sides and the portions are huge. The broccoli cheese casserole is phenomenal. For just opening this month, I feel like this place has it down pretty well!

Good food. My family enjoyed it very much. I, on the other hand found a hair in my food. Waitress was sympathetic and had my meal removed for the price and handled it swifty. Much appreciated and i understand accidents happen.Food: 4/5
