I recently visited Copper Celler with my sister and her family for Sunday Brunch. We devoured the mini croissants and they were delicious. My sister’s pork chop and spinach Maria came out pipping hot and she loved it. My niece had the lemon pepper chicken and rice and enjoyed it as well. My nephew built his own burger and ate every bite so that too was a hit. We could not pass up the butter cake with ice cream and it was delicious. We kept out server Emily busy but she did not miss a beat. Cannot wait to come back again soon!
Everything about our experience was great. The Ale Steak was one of the best steaks I have ever eaten. My wife’s mahi-mahi was also excellent. Our service was timely and courteous. Austin was our server and was very good. We highly recommend this restaurant.
This was my first visit to Copper Cellar. We ate upstairs, not in the Cellar. Our waiter was very professional. I ordered Kim Crawford Illuminate Rose, very good. For my meal I ordered the special, Cajun Mahi Mahi with Poblano cream sauce (I requested sauce on the side), tomato pie and steamed broccoli. Everything on my plate was excellent. The Mahi was so good, it didn’t even need the sauce. The tomato pie was great, I make tomato pie, and this was just as good as mine! The steamed broccoli was nicely cooked. For dessert I ordered Strawberry shortcake, fresh strawberries on a sweet biscuit with Chantilly cream. So good! I’m sorry that I am just visiting in Knoxville and won’t be able to eat here often.
We really enjoyed Copper Cellar. Great service and great food. I had the blue cheese 10oz sirloin, it was delicious. It was a very think cut, super juicy. I also ordered a side house salad very fresh, crispy lettuce, and the ranch dressing was so good, I couldn't stop eating it! We even saved it to eat with the fries we ordered. I'd recommend Neva's potatoes over the spicy mac and cheese, I thought the mac was a little too soupy.
