Cracker Barrel Old Country Store

That was probably the Best Cracker Barrel we've ever eat at. Clean, friendly, hot food, Great taste. Med friend eggs made to perfection. I could go on and on but I'll quit by saying I'd give it more stars if I could.

I don't want to think the poor service I received was due to my race, because I hate to hear of people doing this but I had the poorest service I have ever received in my lifehere. We were seated promptly but it took 20 minutes for someone to come and take our drink orders. Our food order was taken at the time our drinks were ordered. The food came at a reasonable time but only a portion of it. The broccoli was not brought to the table nor the bread. We were given bread to go and a refill of drink. Then the broccoli was still on the ticket. The reason I brought up race was because everyone else was white and everything I saw them get was immediate.The food was delicious but again the service for us was poor. I have never experienced this treatment from any other Cracker Barrel.

Fast Friendly Service and as always the best Chicken Fried Chicken anywhere. We stopped in wanting a good, but quick meal. My son and his friend had time to play one game of checkers on their complimentary Checker Board and we were on the road again.

Food was dried out or not cooked properly. Grits were runny and bland. Country ham was so salty that I could not eat it. Hash brown casserole was bland and had a frozen taste to it.

Loved the food and rate the overall experience based on that alone. New staff training in progress and everyone was trying to satisfy a pretty full house.Beignets dusted with powdered sugar and cinnamon along with a caramel dipping sauce were 10/10!! and went well with the first coffee of the day.The rest of the meal didn’t disappoint. Had a little of everything. Not normally a pancake person but these were fluffy and light with a nice crunch at the edge. Warmed syrup was a nice touch.
