Dos Agaves Mexican - Knoxville

After waiting 45 minutes, another couple arrived with a beautiful lab (not a service dog, but who cares?). Their waiter immediately offered them a water bowl and brought it right away, along with a tall glass of ice water. They ordered a taco salad and a complicated dish, and they received their food just 10 minutes later. After waiting an hour and 20 minutes, and after several attempts to get our waitress’s attention, we finally asked for our drink check, paid, and left. The service was absolutely horrible! We ordered very simple dishes, and the salsa was a letdown—just a can of diced tomatoes with a few large chunks of onion and a sprinkle of cilantro. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY HERE! There are plenty of excellent Mexican restaurants in the area; go to one of them instead!

The food at this restaurant is fantastic, and their margaritas are absolutely delicious. It’s my favorite Mexican spot, with the best dishes around. I especially adore their fried ice cream! Whenever I crave Mexican food, this is the place I always choose. The staff is genuinely friendly, which makes my visits even more enjoyable. I always look forward to dining there!

Fantastic! I had no idea you could find tacos like this in Knoxville. The Buche and Lengua were exceptional. The patio is lovely, and the margaritas are just right—perfectly balanced without being overly sweet. The salsa is top-notch, with an excellent mix of acidity, salt, and cilantro. I've discovered my new favorite Mexican restaurant!

I can understand why Dos Agaves is so busy. They had no idea, when they were the little place in Farragut, that they had the absolute best and most authentic mexican food in Knoxville, until they my moved to turkey creek- during the pandemic. They areoverwhelmed and for good reason. Sombraros off to you! This is the only Mexican restaurant I will give my money to. Peace andlove ???? FYI... There are mostly mexican patrons here. That says it all.

Pulled pork tacos are the bomb! That side sauce is fire, like for real. I absolutely love spicy and it's a lot for me. But I still loved it enough to ask for more lol. Service is not great, not horrible. I drive an hour to eat here so that should saysomething!
