Little Joe's Pizza - Knoxville

I've been visiting this restaurant since I was a little girl, nearly 50 years ago. The menu and decor have remained unchanged, and the prices are still quite reasonable. They offer the best pizza and breadsticks money can buy!

This place absolutely amazing! Me and my wife use to eat here years ago and it was wonderful then! We haven't been in 8 yrs and it's still the same greatest pizza anywhere! Bread sticks are delish too! My wife had a cheese and mushroom and I got a meatlovers, it's just as we remembered! Thanks Little Joe's for not changing anything! If you have never been,I strongly suggeststopping in and check them out. You won't be disappointed!

It's alright. We ordered the combo pizza, which had a thin crust and generous toppings. There's a small salad bar with an option for either a single serving or unlimited helpings. Our server was quite busy but did her best. The interior feels worn and is quite noisy; it could definitely use some tender loving care.

I decided to try the chicken parm sub today. I've never encountered carrots, mushrooms, and grilled chicken in a chicken parm before. I understand I should adjust my expectations for Italian food outside the Northeast, but this sandwich was unacceptable. As for the pizza, it tasted like tomato sauce on a matzo cracker.

At around 4 PM, a lovely young lady named Veronica knocked on our door. After putting on our masks and gloves, we explained our situation. She was so sweet and offered to bring us a pizza. We gratefully accepted, as our options for food were quite limited at that time. Later, Veronica returned with the most delicious ham and pineapple pizza we had tasted in years. I appreciated that they cut their pizza into squares rather than traditional slices; it was perfect just as it was—no extra toppings needed. I highly recommend this place! The next day, still feeling a bit sluggish, we ordered the same pizza but added jalapeños. It was just what we needed—so scrumptious! Thank you so much! #theflamingorv #littlejoespizza
