He slid his cell phone along the counter with his headphone cord getting caught in the toppings as he went. I watched another employee using his phone and putting his hands in his pockets and coughing into his hand prior to placing my pizza in the box. I then watched, in abject horror, as the kid put my last pizza in the oven, walked into the bathroom in the lobby, took enough time for a number two, walked out without hearing the faucet turn on and observing his bone dry hands, unblanched from the temperature difference of warm or cold water. The prep area was littered with the days mishaps of ill-placed toppings and the counter service employee was coughing like every 2 minutes, having covered it only once with his hand and never doing any hand hygiene. They were both addicted to their phones the entire 15 minutes I was in the store. I wanted to take a picture of the kid as he walked out of the bathroom, but I felt that would have been pretty gross and awkward. Needless to say, I won't be going back, ever. The pizza was about average. Better than dominos, par with papa johns, and pizza hut. Similar ingredient quality to all the major players. Obviously, I ate it, as I'm not a squeamish guy, but it was still an impressive display of nonchalance, apathy, and IDGAF attitudes. In the photos you can see the phone and headphone cord on the prep counter, hands in pockets, no glove use, and continuous cell phone use. I've only seen worse employees at a DMV. Covid has employers pretty hard up, I guess. Gross.
Ordered the Bacon and Chicken calzone and Garden salad. My order was delivered just as I had wanted and the food was outstanding. Will surely order again when in Knoxville.
This is what I received for a ham and cheese. would have been delicious with some ham on it.
This Marco?s is one of my favorite chain pizza places in Farragut. Currently, they are highly short staffed and wait times are high, so please be patient and understanding with them. The pizza is worth the wait! I did want to give a 1 star review to this gentleman in the attached picture. He came into their store tonight and was highly rude to the employees. He cussed out a young employee when she told him his pizza wasn?t ready and made her cry. When his pizza was ready, he demanded the manager make it free for him because he waited ?an hour.? Sir, I was the EXACT order number behind yours, there is no way you waited an hour. You waited 10 minutes extra, beyond the quoted time, tops. Your entitlement showed off how little of a person you are and you should be ashamed of yourself.
I placed a order to my job for me for Lunch and they said it would take about a hour for my order to get to me. By the time I looked at the clock. 2 hours already passed and my order never came. When I called, they told me it 'll be there I 'm another 15 minutes. I was already leaving my job and I hadn 't eaten all day and that was gonna be my first meal of the day. I talked to the manager and he didn 't seem to care at all that it took 2 hours and all said was: Well, do you just want me to tell him not to deliver it to you and just cancel it. I felt like if I didn 't bring up the fact that I wanted my money back. He probably wouldn 't have given it back.
