Nick J's Cafe - Knoxville

My husband and I visited for lunch on Friday and were fortunate to find a parking spot since it's usually very busy! It had been years since our last visit, but one thing remained the same: it was fantastic! I ordered the club sandwich, and my husband had the bacon cheeseburger. Both were outstanding. The onion rings were some of the best I've ever had. We sat at the counter, which allowed our waitress to keep our drinks full; she was such a sweetheart and really connected with her customers. You could tell there were plenty of regulars. She even encouraged us to try dessert, although it didn’t take much persuasion! The peanut butter pie and banana pudding were incredible! The prices are also very reasonable for the portion sizes. We’ll definitely be returning soon for breakfast!

It was entertaining to witness the rapport between the staff and regular customers; everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves. Our food arrived in about five minutes, piping hot and delicious. We both ordered the meat lovers omelet, and I added some veggies to mine, along with biscuits and gravy. We were so satisfied that we ended up skipping lunch and didn't eat again until dinner. If we lived in the area, we would definitely become regulars! We plan to visit Tennessee several times a year, and Nick J's will definitely be on our itinerary for those trips.

Bring your appetite, everyone! This café serves up thick, juicy burgers that can compete with any steakhouse. The salads are fresh, and the French fries are hot and crispy. It’s just too convenient to miss out on this delicious food. If you find yourself getting hungry 30 minutes down the interstate, I warned you! Make sure to stop by and indulge!

Great family owned cafe. Great food, prices and best of all service. They make you feel like family. Not many owners walk around to make sure all is well. Highly recommend the breakfast bowl and the pancakes. Thanks again, we will be back.
