My husband enjoyed the lasagna and absolutely loved it. I had the spinach ravioli, and the sauce was simply outstanding. My mom ordered the eggplant Parmesan, which is always her favorite from Forno. The owner, knowing it was our anniversary this week, surprised us with a tiramisu—oh my goodness, it was the best we’ve ever had (even better than in Italy!). It’s homemade and truly spectacular. This has definitely become one of our new favorite Italian restaurants!
We decided to try out a new pizza place on a Sunday afternoon and ended up here. At first, we were a bit unsure since we were the only patrons in the restaurant. We ordered a medium pizza—half meat lovers and half veggie. Wow! It was fantastic! The serving size was just right, allowing each of us to enjoy two slices there and take two slices home. The crust was thin, and they didn't skimp on the toppings. I would definitely return for the pizza and to explore their other menu offerings. The owner even came over to greet us and check if we needed anything, which was a nice touch.
Amazing! Truly amazing food! If your on the fence- jump on over- it?s well worth it! We had lasagna and it was so delicious. I highly recommend. The whole experience was a 10/10!
The prices are a bit on the higher side, but that seems to be the trend with restaurants lately. The portion size was generous, providing enough for another meal later. The music was a bit loud for my liking, although I did enjoy some of the familiar tunes. After placing your order and paying the tip in advance, you choose a table, and they bring your food to you. You’re mostly on your own for drinks, but that didn’t bother me too much. The restaurant was clean, and I’m looking forward to returning to try the chicken fettuccine. On my next visit, I did try the chicken fettuccine, which had a large portion size but was somewhat bland. I ordered a Coke from the fountain, but it tasted a bit watered down. One of the staff members kindly offered to get me a bottled Coke, but things got busy, and I think he forgot. Eventually, I got up, grabbed another cup, and opted for some lemonade instead, which was just okay. Before I left, the employee returned with a to-go container and insisted I take a bottled Coke as an apology for the earlier oversight. I decided to keep my original rating, as I appreciated his gesture. I’m sure I'll come back soon to try something else.
Should have tried Forno earlier as it's a quick walk from our home. Everything was delicious. Try the fried pickles! The garlic knots were cheese stuffed, which we didn't expect- a delicious surprise. The large size Greek salad was large enough that itneeded a second little container of dressing. And we're not sure why we were charged for marinara, as we thought it was includedwith the garlic knots. We'll be back!
