Zachary's Bistro - Knysna

We were eager to have lunch in Knysna and were on the hunt for seafood options. We decided to order the seafood platter for four, along with some local wine. The entire experience was fantastic. This is truly one of the best seafood platters you can find. If you're in Knysna and craving great seafood, this place is a must-visit!

This is a fantastic restaurant with a lovely view of the marina. They offer a great variety of seafood, meat, and sushi. It is a bit on the pricier side, but definitely worth it. They also have a nice selection of beers on tap. We were able to walk in and get a table for two on a Sunday evening during the off-season, even though the restaurant appeared to be quite busy.

The food was quite good, though the portions were slightly on the smaller side; however, keep in mind that it's an upscale establishment. I've had better meals and worse, but this place definitely makes my shortlist of favorites. I visited based on a recommendation from a friend who lives in Herold Bay. I would recommend it to anyone passing through or on holiday here. Also, it's a good idea to make a reservation. I was traveling alone and almost couldn’t get a table, and this was during the off-season on a Thursday evening.

What an experience. They were very busy and booked and still managed to give us a table. The drinks were delicious and not watered down. The decor is tasteful and stylish with a beautiful view over the harbour. But the food! Deliciois does not describe it. The ratatouille and polenta were first class, the Kingklip was fresh and phenomenal. Even as busy as they were, the service was friendly and attentive. The manager even stopped by for a chat about my partner's tattoos. I'd come back to Knysna all the way from GP just to have dinner at Drysock again.

The food was good not the best in Plettenberg the fries was oily and soggy and calamari little bit chewy but the view was amazing with the sunset
